Jill Morgan has been a member of the Theiss CATS team since 2018. She is a Behavioral Health Therapist III with a strong commitment to supporting children and their families.  Jill has worked with children and their families for over two decades in a variety of settings.  She began her career as the children’s coordinator at a domestic violence shelter in Virginia.  This experience is what led Jill to pursue a master’s degree in social work.  Since that time, Jill has worked with children in the school, community and clinic settings.

Jill has experience working with children as young as age 3 through young adults, allowing her to provide informed, developmentally appropriate care across a broad age spectrum. She has many years of experience supporting children who have experienced complex trauma, using compassionate, evidence-based approaches to promote safety, healing, and resilience. She is known for her thoughtful, client-centered approach and her ability to build trust, foster resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Jill has been trained in Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Alternatives for Families a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) and child centered play therapy.

In addition to her clinical work, Jill serves as the Student Internship Coordinator at Theiss CATS, where she oversees the internship program. In this leadership role, she coordinates and supports trainees at all levels, including bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral students. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of behavioral health professionals and fostering a strong, supportive learning environment.
